Nei Gong Foundation Training 11th & 12th of June 2026
These days will explore the transformational process of classically taught Daoist Nei Gong. Sophie will be introducing the alchemical training from the Dragon Gate lineage of Daoist teachings.
We use moving (Qi Gong) and seated (Nei Dan) as the tools to initiate this process. Sophie Johnson is a senior baishi'd teacher of over 30 years experience.
Nei Gong Stepping forward 13th & 14th of June 2026
These 2 days are for those who have covered some of the basics and will be a training within itself, and also function as a follow on for those folk who participated in the two days of foundations and have caught the bug!
We will explore, amongst what is appropriate for those who attend, (I tend to adjust training when I see who is in the room).

Nei Gong as a spiritual practice. What does the word spiritual refer to within this tradition and what does it mean within ourselves and the training?
I am very happy to be coming to Edinburgh, it's such a fabulous place. Hopefully some of my Northern based students might find it easier to attend here. Alongside this, it is such a privilege to be able to introduce this extraordinary and wonderful art to Scotland.
If you are brand new to the art you are hugely welcome, read around what is involved and that will give you a flavour if it's for you. The training is real, demanding, full of change and laughter, underpinned always within an atmosphere of kindness and appreciation of every individual's journey towards inner depth.
